The SriLankan team is seeking for dynamic individual to join us as:

MAINTENANCE CONTROL ENGINEER

The job role entails ensuring that the fleet operates to the optimum maintenance standards, on time dispatch reliability, monitor the maintenance status and arrange remedial actions for airworthiness of SriLankan Airlines aircrafts on 24/7 basis.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring SriLankan Airlines maintenance operation to ensure all repetitive defects/ unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification at Colombo line station and outstations are accomplished in a timely manner to the defined SL CAA/ EASA part 145 requirements and in accordance with quality standards required by ALK/ customer procedures and human factor issues must be considered at all times.
• Liaising with Colombo line station and outstations to ensure accurate information is obtained and recorded for monitoring the maintenance standard of the fleet.
• Coordinating with other departments and maintenance staff to achieve maintenance down planning time, resources and facilities to ensure unscheduled maintenance and defect rectification is achieved in a coordinated and timely manner.
• Liaising with contract maintenance support agencies at line stations to received and provide information in a timely manner relating to the operational maintenance status of aircraft at line stations.

The applicants should possess the following minimum requirements:
Cat B1 or Cat B2, Aircraft Maintenance License from Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAA (SL)).

WITH

Five years of experience with three years of post-licensing experience in aircraft engineering (CAMO)/ aircraft maintenance (AMO) functions at SriLankan Airlines or any other reputed Airline or MRO with a minimum of one full authorization applicable to the relevant area or section (aircraft maintenance, engineering workshops, cabin maintenance, technical services, engineering planning, production planning, component management and quality and safety, MCC, etc).

Note: applicants from external organizations satisfying above qualifications and experience, license plus total five years of experience with three years post license including one year in the relevant area will also be considered upon satisfactory performance at the interview. Aircraft maintenance license from other countries needs to be converted to CAA (SL) license for consideration.

OR

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engineering from a recognized university (UGC approved) or equivalent recognized professional qualification (IESL or EC (UK).

WITH

Five years of experience with three years of postgraduate relevant experience in Aircraft Engineering (CAMO) or Aircraft Maintenance (AMO) or Engineering Quality and Safety functions at SriLankan Airlines or any other reputed Airline or at a reputed MRO.

Note: applicants from external organizations satisfying above qualifications and experience (in avoidance of doubt the academic qualifications with total five years of experience out of which three years post graduate experience including one year in the relevant area in Aircraft Engineering (CAMO) or Aircraft Maintenance (AMO) or Engineering Quality & Safety functions will also be considered upon satisfactory performance of the interview.
